Dear Nicki Minaj
I watched the last half of the BET Awards last night and thought the production values were very good. Nicki Minaj won the Best Female Rapper award for the 5th time last night and accepted the award like Iggy Azalea sat on her throne of swords and declared war on all things Minaj. It was highly unprofessional, out-of-pocket, and uncalled for.
Bicyclists / Cyclists / Bikers Suck
Bikers: SHARE THE ROAD! You’re not better than everyone else just because you ride a bike. Yes, you do cardio every day. Good for you. That doesn’t make you better than anyone else or deserving of rule-bending anymore than it does me for working out 4-5 days a week. You’re not unique, boo.
Biphobic: What I Am According to Twitter
One of the points of Keene Point of View that I strive for is to treat everyone lovingly. The love may be harsh if you’re a right-wing conservative Christian who is unloving to anyone not like you, but I don’t try to be intentionally offensive…except maybe on video…as a joke…unless you’re Gwyneth Paltrow. (I…she just…”Flames on the side of my faaaace…!”) The last group I’d want to offend is anyone LGBT.
When Jesus Says No, Nobody Can Say Yes
When Jesus says no, take a moment to tell him how you feel about it when it happens. Don’t keep it pent up for years like I did. The tantrum should last a few hours, max. Eventually, you won’t have tantrums, just frustration but resolve to soldier on.

Muslims Are Dangerous
Where do we get off using a religion as a slur? Let’s be honest, even since 9/11/2001 America has regarded Muslims as “the Other” and consistently used the word as a coded racial term to strike fear and hatred into the hearts of the most red-blooded Americans.
Compassionate-less Conservativism
The Republican Party’s vocal conservative members (most of them) clearly have a problem with their loudest members focusing on the things that make them passionate and compassionate. Eric Cantor might still have a job to come back to in January if he focused on the right thing.

I downloaded the app, Secret, out of morbid curiosity. It’s largely been SO boring. I WANT JUICE! I WANT SALACIOUS SCOOPS! But nawl.
The N-Word Is My Right & Wrong
I just don’t understand how your race can be the oppressor for so long and get mad that you’re not included on the in-joke about you when you’ve mocked my race since we were forced to come to this country. I mean, they’ve told my people how to act, dress, speak, wear our hair, and name our children for centuries. Now we’re expected to follow yet another instruction? As if!
