Episode 52 | We Can’t Breathe
Happy Friday, everyone.
This is my take on race relations in the U.S. (well, just a small take on my view on it) in the lens of the decision to not indict Eric Garner’s killer, even though the coroner ruled the death a homicide and said the cause of death was external pressure applied to Garner’s chest and neck, preventing breathing. This was all seen on camera and we have a coroner’s report to back it up, but that killer cop still got away with murder.
We have a lot of work to do, America. First step: Embrace race and all that comes with it. We can’t breathe, America.
